What kind of care do Upwards providers offer?
Upwards works with a variety of childcare providers, including daycare centers, preschools, in-home daycares, babysitters, nannies, and more. If you're looking for a specific type of provider and don't see one near you on the Provider Map, contact your Care Navigator.
Does Upwards offer flexible schedules?
Whether you are looking for full-time, part-time, drop-in, or weekend care, Upwards has a team of Care Navigators who work 24/7 to provide placement services and customer support. We understand that working hours can vary, and many of our current parents are shift workers. With our network of providers, we can support parents in their search for after-school care, late-night care, early mornings, weekends, and more.
Can I afford childcare?
Your employer has covered the cost of using Upwards as part of your benefits package, so this service is free to use. Childcare rates will vary by provider and are typically based on age, schedule, type of care, staff-to-child ratio, location, and other various factors. Providers are responsible for setting their tuition rates, but our team of Care Navigators will negotiate and work with providers on your behalf. Upwards tuition rates are typically about 40% more affordable than traditional childcare options on the market.
Do you have providers who can care for children with exceptional needs?
Yes, we have providers who are experienced in caring for children with exceptional needs such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Dyslexia, Auditory or Visual Processing Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Anxiety or Mood Disorders, and many more. We recommend being transparent about your child's needs so we can find the right fit so you both feel supported in this transition.
