As part of the onboarding process, we suggest you upload a selfie. A simple photo goes a long way. We want to make sure you stand out, and families start to feel connected to you!

How do I add a photo of myself?

1. Tap "Menu" in the bottom right corner.

2. Tap "Edit Profile" under your name.

3. Tap “Change photo."

You will be able to access photos from your camera roll. Select the photo you want to upload!

What are the selfie guidelines at Upwards?


Choose a friendly headshot that looks directly at the camera.	Do not use filters or heavily retouched photos.
Ensure the image resolution is high enough to avoid blurriness and pixelation when cropped.	Don't cover your face with hands, hair, objects, or accessories.
Upload a solo photo to avoid confusion.	Avoid side profiles or photos where your face is cut off.
Ensure your entire face is visible.	Do not include sensitive information like IDs, addresses, or contact details.
Don’t forget to smile!	Refrain from striking inappropriate poses.
