How do I add or change photos of my daycare?

It's time to show off your space! Upload at least four to eight photos that will make your daycare stand out. If you are including children's faces, ensure you have the parents' permission.

We recommend you include:

  • Your play area and toys.
  • Your outside play area (if you have one).
  • The front of your house.
  • Other special areas you want to highlight.

1. Tap on your selfie in the upper right-hand corner.

2. Tap on “My Program.”

3. Tap on "Photos."

4. Select "+ Add Photo” to add more photos.

5. Select "Edit" to remove and rearrange your photos.

Need to change the order? You can click and drag photos to reorder.

Want to remove an old photo? You can also click the red X mark to delete a photo.

What photos should I avoid on my Daycare's profile?

  • Identifying information: Do not include personal details that could identify a child, such as full names, addresses, or birth dates.
  • Potentially embarrassing situations: Avoid capturing images of children in situations that might embarrass them, such as toileting or during meltdowns.
  • Revealing or inappropriate clothing: Exclude photos of children in revealing or inappropriate attire, including swimwear or scary Halloween costumes.
  • Risky activities: Do not display images of children engaging in dangerous or harmful activities that endanger their safety and well-being.
  • Inappropriate or explicit photos:
    • Sexually suggestive or revealing images.
    • Depictions of substance use, including alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, vaping, or e-cigarettes.
    • Offensive gestures, tattoos, body piercings, weapons, or knives
    • Background or captions containing inappropriate words, texts, filters, signs, graffiti, or offensive content.
  • Sensitive information: Business or daycare names/logos, financial details, or contact information.
  • Blurry or pixelated photos: Avoid using blurry or pixelated photos to present a professional and appealing representation of your daycare.

Following these guidelines, you can create a positive and professional representation of your daycare. Remember to prioritize the safety, privacy, and well-being of the children in your care. Presenting your daycare appealingly and responsibly will attract potential families while maintaining a respectful environment for all.
