In partnership with your workplace, we've paired you up with a dedicated Care Navigator who will be there for you every step of the way. Plus, you'll receive specialized elder care services in partnership with Helper Bees, the largest credentialed network and platform of aging-in-place services.
In this video, we're excited to introduce you to how Upwards supports you in navigating innovative elder care solutions to provide you with a complete support system for your family's elder care journey. Life can be unpredictable, and at Upwards, we understand the struggle of balancing work commitments with elder care responsibilities. That's why we're here to connect you with experts at Helper Bees so we can reduce stress and handle all the complex details, like insurance navigation to appointment scheduling and everything in between.
Our goal is to provide eldercare services that cater to your family’s specific needs with affordable, flexible, high-quality care that is accessible and within your budget. You have access to expert eldercare experts who are knowledgeable about various aspects of care, including in-home care, care coordination, and navigating independence at home. We'll work with you to create a Personalized Care Action Plan, coordinate services, and connect you with appropriate resource and care providers.

This includes transportation services, meal delivery, home modifications, local community resources, support programs, in-home care providers, specialized medical services, and other services based on your specific needs.
• Work-Life Synergy: Our Elder Care Experts serve as a reliable support system, ensuring we can reduce stress and absenteeism related to caregiving responsibilities.
• Personalized Support: With our team of Care Navigators, you have unlimited access to experts who specialize in finding the perfect match for your childcare and eldercare needs. Available 24/7 and typically responding within 1 hour to requests, our navigators work diligently to ensure you don't have to navigate this alone.

1. Navigate to the Home screen and scroll through the "My Benefits" Section.
2. Click on “Submit Request".
3. Select "Elder Care" and then "Next".
4. Select the answer that best matches your family's timeline.
Don't forget to select next so you can move to the next question.
5. Select "Ongoing" for recurring care or "One-time" for back-up care.
6. Continue to complete your care request.
This will include your start date, type of provider, location, budget, and any extra details that will best support your family.
7. Add your family member's information to help guide our search.
Select "+Add" to add the Date of Birth, their name, and gender.
8. Input your zip code.
We recommend inputting the zip code for where you are looking for care (even if that isn't where you are currently located).
9. Check services that would best support your family.
You can select as many or as few as you want.
10. Add any additional notes to best support your request.
This information will not be shared publicly.
11. Review your request and make any necessary edits/changes.
Once you are ready, select "Confirm".
