How does Upwards partner with your company?

In partnership with your workplace, we've paired you up with a dedicated Care Navigator who will be there for you every step of the way. Plus, you'll receive Backup care for those last-minute, surprising moments when you need quality care quickly. 


In this video, we're excited to introduce you to how Upwards supports you in navigating unexpected childcare challenges. Life can be unpredictable, and at Upwards, we understand the struggle of balancing work commitments with childcare needs. That's why we're here to provide you with reliable backup care solutions tailored to your family's requirements.



Our goal is to provide childcare services that cater to your family’s specific needs with affordable, flexible, high-quality childcare programs that are accessible and within your budget. You have access to a suite of childcare services, including our Backup Care program. Backup Care is available to support you during unpredictable times, offering emergency childcare solutions that help minimize disruptions to your day and provide peace of mind at no cost to you.


Here's a little more about what your employer has facilitated for you:

• Reliable Care Solutions: Access to a diverse network of high-quality, vetted childcare providers. This includes Babysitters, Nannies, Tutors for educational support, Home daycares for a more personalized care setting, Preschools and Daycare centers for structured early learning, and Summer camps for seasonal activities.

• Work-Life Synergy: Our Backup Care options serve as a reliable support system, filling in whenever regular care is unavailable, ensuring you're covered during school holidays, teacher in-service days, and even when your child is mildly ill.

• Personalized Support: With our team of Care Navigators, you have unlimited access to experts who specialize in finding the perfect match for your childcare needs. Available 24/7 and typically responding within 1 hour to requests, our navigators work diligently to ensure you don't have to navigate this alone.


How do I request Backup Care?

You can access your Upwards account via upwards.com or through the Upwards app.

1. Navigate to the Home screen and scroll through the "My Benefits" Section. 

2. Click on Request Backup Care.”


3. Select “+Add day.”


4. Enter the date and time needed and select “Add.”
