What if my Daycare License isn't active yet?

We're thrilled that you're starting your own home daycare! At this time, we can only form partnerships with fully licensed daycare providers. If you're waiting for your license to become active, we’ll need to confirm its status either through the state licensing website or by receiving proof that your license is officially active.


What should I do while I wait?
Here’s how you can prepare to join Upwards and have your daycare listed as soon as possible!


1. Complete the Upwards Application - Use this link: https://upwards.com/provide-care. During the application process, select "I own an existing Daycare" during the application process.


2. Install the Upwards App: You can download this: https://upwards.com/download.


3. Show Us Your Daycare Space: Once in the app, you can upload photos of your daycare space, which helps us assess your setup and prepare for your listing.


4. Notify Us When Your License is Active: Once your license is confirmed, reach out to our support team to let us know by submitting a ticket or emailing us at support@upwards.com.
