How do I get paid?

Modified on Wed, 8 Jul at 8:26 AM

To get paid with Upwards, link your bank account in the Upwards app: tap your profile picture, open My Earnings, and connect your bank automatically via Plaid or by entering your routing and account numbers manually. Once your account is linked, payouts arrive automatically — and you are always paid before providing care.

What are the benefits of connecting my bank account?

  • You will always receive payment before providing care.
  • Parents are expected to pay one week in advance. Families are charged every Monday unless a payment plan is put in place.
  • We know that parents can miss their payments. Our team will follow up with the family and notify you when the payment has been made.
  • You can download an end-of-year report with all of your payment transactions, which eliminates the need to track payments. Simply download the report and take it to your tax preparer.
